Well preserved vintage Skookum doll. The woman doll is carrying a child with her. She wears a necklace made with vintage trade beads, what appears to be real human hair on both mother and child, a wool top and blanket with flower pattern cotton pants. The child has a head band with native symbols and the mother is wearing plastic moccasins. Facial features are well preserved, but slightly dirty.
The doll measures 10 1/2" tall by 4 1/2" across the shoulders and weighs 3.65 ounces. From what I've read the doll would have been made between 1924 to 1950. The bottom of the moccasins state " TRADEMARK REG. - SKOOKUM BULLY GOOD INDIAN - MADE IN USA. $104.95
