Vintage Zuni collector’s inlay turquoise cluster earrings and link bracelet. Made by a member of the famous Dishta family. The link bracelet displays five (5) sections of nine (9) piece circular inlaid turquoise stones that form a diamond shape cluster. Each diamond cluster has a soldered jump ring attached to both ends and the silversmith creates a stout oblong chain link to connect them together. On one end the artist creates a handmade shepherds hook as the link bracelet clasp. The earrings consist of a four (4) stone inlaid turquoise cluster with an ear stud and the artist hangs an inverted “V” shaped round wire with a single circular inlay in the bend of the “V”. The artist attaches a triangular stack to the bottom that consists of five (5) circular inlaid stones with a silver drop inserted in the center.

The link bracelet measures 8 1/2” long end to end with each diamond shaped cluster measuring 9/16” tall by 1 1/4” across which includes both jump rings. It weighs 18.9 grams and will fit a wrist under 8” by clipping the shepherds hook to any of the jump rings and letting the overage hang freely. Each earring measures 1 9/16” by 7/16” across and weighs 2.4 grams (4.8 grams per pair). Both the link bracelet and the earrings are unsigned sterling silver. After studying the Dista technics and due to obvious file marks on the back side and no signature or hallmark I want to say the bracelet may have been made somewhere between the 30’s-50’s. Possibly by the grandfather of Dishta style flush inlay circular and teardrop shapes Frank Dishta and/or his wife Pauline and also possibly while working for C.G. Wallace.
