Colorful Navajo turquoise and coral shadowbox with chip inlay ring. The artist has created a base band mounting both a piece of branch coral and a turquoise nugget with dark brown matrix. Both stones are set into a scallop cut bezel and mounted to the blackened oxidized silver band. The artist creates another band which has been wrapped over the top of the first band displaying cut out for the chip inlay designs and also scallop cut outs to expose the stones. The artist finishes by filling the tribal symbols with turquoise and coral chips along with adding decorative stampwork to the outer side of both stones.

The ring face measures 15/16” by 3/4” across from outer edge of coral to outer edge of the turquoise stone. It weighs 13.4 grams and is a size 12 1/4.
