NEW! Zuni turquoise and coral channel inlay ring bands. We commissioned with Phyllis to make a new style ring band based on her turquoise zig zag rings and this is what we came up with. It’s the same popular band, Item 884R, except she’s added a turquoise and coral straight silver channel across the face instead of the zig zag turquoise like the others. Starting with a blackened scorched silver base and runs square wire along the outer rims completely around the band. She adds a twisted strip of sheet silver down the center from the side across the back and up the opposite side. Across the face on the band the artist applies decorative cuts into both square wires of the band and inlay turquoise in a straight channel style. Both end pieces of the turquoise are flat or flush on both ends to avoid possibly chipping the stones and the turquoise and coral across the rest of the face are gradually beveled on both sides as it also rises up above the silver.
