The silversmith uses a teardrop cut and polished orange spiny oyster set into sawtooth bezels and wrapped with coiled wire along with smooth wire around the outer rim and a large silver drop at top. The artist cuts the outer smooth wire into small sections which also cut through the sheet silver base under the wire. He finishes by attaching an ear stud on the back.

Each earring measures 3/4” by 5/8” across. They weigh 4.1 grams each (8.2 grams per set) and are hallmarked ROIE JAQUE - STERLING by the Navajo silversmith.
