Item #903A- Navajo Turquoise Red & Orange Lions Paw Sterling Silver Decorative Cuff Bracelet by Roie Jaque
NEW! Beautiful Navajo turquoise and lions paw shell decorative silver bracelet by Roie Jaque. The silversmith has used three (3) oval cut and polished deep blue turquoise stones sporting green stripes, black matrix, and silvery pyrite. He’s mounted the largest oval in center flanking with the smaller oval turquoise to both sides. The larger stone is wrapped with twisted wire and encircled with four (4) small egg shaped pieces of lions paw shell and silver drops balancing between the shells along with sunrise stamped silver above and below the turquoise stone. Most of the artists are using the lion’s paw and calling it spiny oyster based on the similarity of colors in the shell. I don’t know if the raw cost is any different, but true spiny oyster is getting somewhat rare to obtain. The two (2) smaller turquoise stones are simply wrapped with only twisted wire. The artist continues decorating by mounting round cut lions paw and sun stamped silver buttons down both sides. All of the stones and shells are separated from the next with two (2) silver drops. All of the stones and shells have been set into sawtooth bezels. Mr. Jaque has mounted all of the decoration to a solid double triangular wire cuff that has twisted wire running through the middle and soldered together down both sides to both ends.
