The artist has created a silver butterfly and inlays thirteen (13) sections of white lab opals on one side with the other side consisting of twenty six (26) miscellaneous channel inlay pieces of red and orange spiny oyster, black jet, lapis, blue turquoise, gaspeite, and white opal. The artist attaches a silver drop with silver wire antennae as the head and finishes by attaching a silver bale between the antennae.

The butterfly measures 7/8” tall by 13/16” across and including the bale stands 1 1/8” tall. It weighs 3.9 grams and is stamped on the inside of the bale SM - Sterling by the OTT (Ortega Turquoise Traders) artist.
