Bold heavy vintage Navajo 14K gold and sterling silver cuff. The silversmith has used over four (4) ounces of silver and 14K gold to create this piece of wearable art. The artist has used a straight chisel to apply the design into the cuff and overlaid strips of 14K solid gold over four (4) areas. He continues by applying a repeating pattern of plant symbols and other symboled stampwork on the inside of the cuff.

The thick, heavy, solid cuff measures 5/8" wide and 3/16" thick tapering to 1/8" thick. It has an inner circumference of 5 3/4" plus a 1  1/16" opening. It will fit a 6 5/8" to 6 3/4" wrist and cannot be adjusted. The heavy cuff weighs 115.9 grams (4.09 oz or 3.73 ozt) and is hallmarked J.Nez - 14K - STERLING by the Navajo artist Julian Nez (1953-2005). Considered a collector's item.
