Beautiful Navajo ten (10) piece sterling silver horse story teller overlay concho belt. The belt consists of a belt buckle concho along with nine (9) more conch’s each displaying a different story concerning a horse in an overlay theme. The buckle displays a horse bust with rolling hills and a mesa in the background. The rest show a mother horse and colt feeding in a pasture, a horse bucking his rider off, a horse with hill and mesa in background, a horse on top of mesa with another mesa in background, a horse pulling a wagon, a horse running through pasture, horse with mesa in front, a horse with a fence and mesa in background, and the final concho displays a horse with man riding towards two mesas.

Each overlay concho including the buckle measure 1 9/16” tall by 2 1/4” across. The conch’s have a wide copper slide attached to the back side and the buckle has a stationary copper keeper with a silver set pin. The actual leather belt measures 1 1/4” wide by 38” long and has five set holes starting at 33”. The complete belt weighs 237.1 grams (8.36 oz) and the buckle shows NA - STERLING by the artist.
