NEW! Navajo braided sterling silver wire necklaces. The silversmith has used numerous strands of 20ga or 16ga sterling silver wire and braided them as one to create this heavy silver necklace. The artist caps each end of with custom made barrel tips and attaches a handmade shepherd's hook at one end and two (2) oblong hammered and stamped silver links at other end to allow for length adjustment. Ideal to wear as is or with your favorite large bale pendant (see picture, pendant sold separately).

The heavy sterling necklaces measures approximately 24" long end to end and are  approximately 6mm thick weighing 72.5 grams (2.56 oz or 2.33 ozt). The 16ga braided wire necklace measures 21” long end to end and is approximately 9mm thick weighing 98.5 grams (3.47 oz or 3.17 ozt). Both are hallmarked EMT inside a fish (Ichthys) - STERLING by Navajo silversmith Travis Teller. The hallmark is a family mark which Everett and Mary Teller also use.
