Bold vintage Hopi symbolized bear silver overlay belt buckle.The silversmith has created a bear overlay with a textured oxidized base with tribal symbols displayed in the bear body. The artist continues decorating by displaying a basket weave overlay under the bear. The artist applies a high sheen polish to the back side with a satin brushed sheen on the front. He finishes the buckle by creating handmade swivel belt clasp and solid set pin on the back.

The belt buckle measures 2 1/4” tall by 3” across and weighs 62 grams (2.19 oz or 1.99 ozt). It’s hallmarked with the Hopi Silvercrafts Sunface and a Bear Paw hallmark belonging to Philbert Poseyesva. It will accommodate up to a 1 1/2” wide belt.
