WOW! Vintage 50's-60's Navajo super extra large turquoise nugget decorated silver leaves cuff bracelet. The silversmith has used an extremely large blue turquoise nugget with dark brown matrix and heavy silvery iron ore pyrite throughout. The silversmith has set the slab nugget into a saw tooth bezel. Mounted to a scorched and blackened silver base the artist continues decorating by encircling the stone with an array of four (4) large silver leaves, two (2) separate runs of silver drops, one consisting of five (5) drops flanked with extra large silver drops at each end and another with six (6) drops flanked with extra large drops. Along each side of the stone are combinations of three (3) silver drops and two (2) scrolls. The silversmith has used eight (8) handmade have round wires (appear cast?) connecting them in the center of the setting used as the cuff. The artist applied decorative stampwork on each cuff wire soldering the four together at the ends and also using a spacer section to both cuff sides.

The massive bracelet measures 4 5/8" wide. The setting measures 4 5/8" by 3" across widest area. The stone itself measures 3 3/4" by 2" across and approximately 5/8" thick! The inner circumference measures 6" plus a 1 1/4" opening. It fits a 7 1/8" to 7 1/4" wrist as is and can be slightly and carefully adjusted to fit between 7" to 7 1/2" wrist. The massive bracelet weighs a whopping 192 grams (6.77 oz or 6.17 ozt) and is marked (not sure if hallmark?) and guaranteed sterling silver.
