Colorful vintage 30's-40's Zuni multi stone inlay Peacock earrings. Primitively made due to limited tools compared to inlay jewelry made today. The artist has used turquoise, coral, and jet to create the beautiful peacock earrings. All channel inlaid with standard screw type clasps attached to the backs. The artist used molten silver to fill voids. Some may name the bird as a turkey or even a road runner, but my personal belief is the road runner would have straight tail feathers and a turkey would have a full fan of feathers.

Each earring measures approximately 5/8" tall by 1" across and weigh 3.7 grams (7.4 grams for both). The screw wheels are stamped STERLING although you can't see it in the pictures. Most collectors prefer the tarnished, aged look so we have left the decision to clean to the buyer.  $169.95
