Extra large, heavy Santo Domingo turquoise nugget and heishi necklace with matching jaclas. The artist has polished very large turquoise nuggets with brown and dark brown matrix along with cut and polished heishi graduating discs to create the two (2) piece necklace set. The artist has used a sequence of three (3) discs between the nuggets finishing with a stack of graduating heishi discs up each side connected with a squaw wrap. The matching jaclas consist of the graduating turquoise heishi with pieces of branch coral at each end and a row of cut mother of pearl “corn beads”. Both are strung on strong double twisted cotton cords. Very large and heavy necklace and jacla set!

The necklace measures 16”-17” down each side measures from center of squaw wrap down to center turquoise nugget. The turquoise nuggets measure between 24mm by 15mm by 17mm up to 56mm by 19mm by 10mm (approximately 1 1/16” by 5/8” by 3/4” to 2 1/8” by 7/8” by 7 1/6”). The heishi disc beads measure between 5mm up to 11mm (3/16” to 7/16”). The necklace weighs a hefty 240.8 grams (8.50 oz). The Jaclas measure 5 3/8” long down each side and weigh 74.6 grams (2.63 oz).
