WOW! Here’s one not for the weak at heart! Men’s extra large and very heavy Santo Domingo double strand turquoise bead necklace. The two (2) strands consist of graduating turquoise heishi beads ranging from 7mm to 12mm, large diamond cut turquoise beads ranging from 16mm by 11mm up to 23mm by 16mm, oblong diamond cut turquoise beads measuring 31mm by 12mm along with short and extremely large finger/teardrop turquoise beads ranging from 23mm by 12mm up to 70mm by 22mm. All strung on heavy strong twine which are tied together on both ends along with plenty of excess to allow for adjustment in length if desired.

The large heavy turquoise bead necklace has a wearable length of 19” measured from the cord tie down one side to bottom of the long finger beads. I don’t want to untie the cords at top to measure an end to end, but it would be somewhere between 28” to 30” end to end. The necklace weighs a hefty 524.2 grams (18.49 oz or 1 lb 2.49 oz). The turquoise is not only stabilized, but also appears to have many coats of a clear sealant to assure a hardness of the stone.
