Item #979Z- Navajo Blue Gem Turquoise Sunrise Stamped Box Bow-Butterflies Naja Sterling Silver Necklace by E & M Teller
NEW! Beautiful Navajo Blue Gem turquoise box bow butterflies squashblossom necklace. Made by Everett and Mary Teller, they have created a copy of an older 1940’s Navajo box bow necklace. They have created sixteen (16) box bow/butterflies mounting a oval cut and polished Blue Gem turquoise stone onto each box bow set into smooth silver bezels. Each box displays bead wire ran on both sides of the stone with plant symbol and sunrise symbols applied to both sides of the box bow. The Tellers have created a heavy triangular wire naja with twisted wire running along the inside. The naja sports a large oblong cut and polished Blue Gem turquoise teardrop stone in the center of the naja flanked by Hogan buttons. Across the top of the naja flanked on both ends with Hogan buttons are seven (7) oval cut stones each set into smooth silver bezels with a Hogan button separating each stone at the top. They also ran a stick of a new styled “dash-double dot” wire under the row of oval stones. A lot of decoration going on! They created one hundred twenty (120) 8mm fluted saucer silver beads, four (4) 5mm fluted saucer beads, four (4) 4mm fluted saucer beads, two (2) 5mm round fluted beads, two (2) 13mm round fluted silver beads, and two (2) 15mm by 9mm fluted melon silver beads, along with two (2) custom stamped shepherds hooks to complete the necklace. They use double shepherds hooks to easily connect an extension if desired. They are soft and can be squeezed shut to assure not coming loose while wearing.
