NEW! Extra large Navajo turquoise hollow silver decorated Morning Singer Kachina pendant. The silversmith has created a four-sided hollow silver pendant of a detailed Morning Singer Kachina. With a morning sunrise and a spiral of life symbols painted (stamped) on the face and multiple repeating symbols across the body in a silver overlay with black textured silver base. The artist has mounted a beautiful blue Kingman turquoise to the kachina's side set into a hand cut serrated bezel and two (2) prayer feathers on it's head. He finishes the pendant by attaching a large circular silver bale with three (3) lines etched completely around the outside. The hollow silver vessels are one of the hardest pieces to make with silver without showing the seams or not completely sealing it.

The Morning Singer measures 2 3/4" tall by 1 1/2" across by 1/4" thick. Including the large bale it stands just shy of 4" tall. The circular bale has an inner diameter of 11/16". The complete pendant weighs 24.2 grams and is hallmarked Prayer Feather - R.Singer - .925 by noted Navajo silversmith Richard Singer.  The Morning Singer is believed to appear on the rooftops to sing songs that awaken the village.
