Large Navajo high end six (6) stone turquoise butterfly pendant by Roie Jaque. The silversmith has used beautiful Blue Carico Lake turquoise with golden brown and light brown matrix. The six (6) nuggets are rounded and highly polished set into smooth silver bezels. The largest center stone has been wrapped with twisted wire with the remaining five (5) stone set into a somewhat semi-satellite fashion with a silver drop separating each stone from the next. He has applied smooth wire around the outer rim of the top "wing" stones and stamping repeat plant symbols on the smooth wire causing the wire to become flat. The bottom two (2) "wing" stones he has applied repeating bead wire around the outer rim. To the very top stone or head of the butterfly he has added two (2) scroll wires as antenna along with a very large silver ball which has also attaches the bale to.

The large turquoise butterfly measures 2" by 2" and including the bale stands 2 3/8" tall. The bale has a 5/16" opening. The butterfly pendant weighs 31.1 grams (1.10 oz or 1 ozt) and is hallmarked ROIE JAQUE - STERLING by the noted Navajo silversmith.
