He’s started with a large slab of turquoise from the Turquoise Mountain Mine located in the Kingman dist. The green-blue stone with rust brown matrix running throughout is set into a square toothed handmade bezel and mounted onto a scorched blackened silver base. Mr Larson has attached a domed shadowbox with scallop cut and repeat sunrise stamped rim. He’s attached a thumb locking bolo clasp on the back that holds the 4-ply black braided leather cord.

The bolo setting measures 3 1/8” by 2 1/4” across with the stone itself being 1 15/16” by 1 1/4” across (46mm by 30mm). The 4-ply cord measures 48” long which includes 2 1/4” long sterling silver 8mm seamed bead end tips.
