Large vintage Navajo square decorative stamped trinket/pill box. The sterling silver box displays a balanced sunrise stamped frame along the top of the beveled lid with other tribal stampwork inside the sunrise frame box. The silversmith attaches the lid to the box with two (2) silver hinges on the back and a recessed divot on the from that works as a catch to hold the lid shut on the box.

The large pill box measures 2” by 2” across and the box is 7/16” deep. The lid is slightly larger and has an overlapping rim. It measures 2 1/8” by 2 1/8” across. The box weighs a hefty 52.3 grams (1.84 oz or 1.68 ozt) and is unsigned sterling silver by the Navajo silversmith. The larger trinket/pill boxes are very hard to come across anymore. $303.95
