Item #998P- Large Navajo Oval Blue Diamond Turquoise Stamped Sterling Silver Scarf Slide by EM Teller
NEW! Large bold Navajo decorative turquoise scarf slide. Made by Everett and Mary Teller, they’ve used a large oblong cut oval polished turquoise stone set into a smooth silver bezel. The stone is possibly from the Blue Diamond Mine based on the light spiderwebbing and swirls. They continue by wrapping the stone with a “double dot-dash” wire and again encase with a large silver drop wire. On the back side they have applied numerous symbols of Horny Toads, Crosses, Buffalo Skulls, Birds, Stars, Fish, Crossed Arrows, Lizards, Howling Wolves/Coyotes, Spirit Bears, Bear Tracks, Cactus, and also the Teller’s Hallmark. They also have attached the decorative scarf slide that displays silver bead wire and what I call crown wire that’s sometimes used as bezels running both completely around the scarf slide across the center.
