Beautiful vintage southwest silver and gold sunburst watchcuff. The silversmith has created a wide arching smooth and polished silver cuff tapering off and rounding both ends. The artist has included three (3) gold colored textured stripes across the face of the cuff and cutting out a sun design through the center stripe. They appear to be overlaid? Finishing by attaching clips on the underneath to attach the watchface allowing it to be seen through the sun design cut out. The watchface has silver hands with twelve (12) small diamonds or cubic zirconium marking each interval. All on a white background with a gold rim. The gold rim can only be seen if looking at an angle. Very well made!
The watchcuff measures 1 1/4" wide across the face narrowing to 7/8" at each end. It sports an inner circumference of 5 1/8" plus 1 1/4" opening. It will fit a 6 1/4" to 6 3/8" wrist as is and could be slightly adjusted to fit between a 6 1/8" to 6 1/2" wrist. The watchcuff comes with a battery operated quartz watch that has JJ - QUARTZ wrote on the face. As we stated above it has twelve (12) numeral markers that are either zirconium or real diamonds. We installed a new battery and it has kept perfect time over the last 3-4 weeks. The complete watchcuff with watch weighs 51.1 grams (1.80 oz or 1.64 ozt) and is signed on inside STERLING - MADE IN TUCSON, AZ - Copyright insignia 1986 J&J - J.P. J.H. I searched online for any info about the store/jeweler's and didn't find anything so I can't tell you if it's native made or anglo made. I can vouch that it's a very well made piece and the watch runs great! It's priced as if the watch markers are zirconium so if they are determined diamonds it's my loss and your gain! $219.95
