Beautiful vintage Mexican twenty five (25) piece turquoise stamped decorative wire flower concho double link belt! The belt has twenty five (25) turquoise set round conchos with an abstract mosaic stamping mounted on top of a scallop cut silver base with repeating scroll crescent moon wire and silver drops that create a resemblance of a flower. The round cut and polished turquoise stones appear to be from many different mines with blue, light blue, blue-green, and green turquoise. Some have a matrix and some show no matrix. All set into smooth silver bezels. The silversmith connects each concho to the next using two (2) silver wire links which have been soldered together making a chain link. The artist solders a catch on one end using a square wire and attaches a hook type clip on the other end of the belt using a solid piece of sheet silver. Each concho measures approximately 1 3/16" diameter) wityh the complete belt measuring 37 1/2" long end to end. The belt weighs a healthy 174.3 grams (6.15 ounces or 5.60 troy ounces). The belt is unsigned Sterling Silver. The concho belt has a beautiful even patina which we will leave to the customer to decide cleaning or not.
