Beautiful vintage Navajo turquoise repousse’ stamped sunburst linked concho belt. The silversmith has created thirteen (13) heavy repousse’ stamped sunburst conchos. The silversmith has encased the sunburst with repeating tribal stamping and also adds repeat sunrise stampwork around the outer scallop cut rims. The silversmith has also created twelve (12) silver flowering sunburst that are used as spacers between each repousse’ turquoise sunburst conchos. The artist has added a silver shepherds clasp clip on the very last concho that hooks to the last sunburst flower at the opposite end. The belt has a section you can remove to make it shorter.

Each repousse’ concho measures approximately 1 1/2” tall by 1 3/4” across. The smaller silver sunburst flowers measure 13/16” by 7/16” across which does not include the half ring connectors. The complete length of the belt is 36 1/2” long. The removable section is 5 1/2” long so you can easily make the belt only 31” long if desired. The belt weighs 141.4 grams (4.98 oz or 4.54 ozt) and is unsigned sterling silver. The silver has been “antiqued” which makes it appear older with heavy patina. We have left it to the customer to clean or not. It had nine (9) cracked stones when we got it and have had new stones installed.
