Bold heavy Hopi rectangular Kokopelli silver overlay cast ring. The silversmith has used a heavy rectangular cast silver band and applied an etched oxidized face. He has overlaid with a hand cut silver rendition of a hunchbacked Kokopelli deity playing his flute to help the crops or plants grow. The design also shows a plant symbol along with water and running water symbols. Kokopelli is known as the fertility deity and everything around him grows and multiplies when he plays his flute and dances.
