Heavy solid Hopi corn stalk and tribal symbols overlay cast silver ring. The silversmith has used a heavy cast sterling silver band and applied a textured and oxidization to the ring face. The artist continues by attaching a section of silver that displays the cut out of a corn stalk on one side of the face along with two (2) symbols setting inside a badger paw on the other side of the face. One of the symbols is a water wave representing water to grow the plants, but not sure what the symbol is in the middle of the badger paw? I would imagine it’s a sun symbol considering that’s the other part to grow plants.

The ring face measures 1 1/8” by 5/8” across and weighs a hefty 25.8 grams. The ring is a size 11 and is stamped STERLING along with a hallmark and a copyright insignia. I believe the hallmark is a snowman by Hopi silversmith Cyrus Josytewa Jr although the mark is light and appears to be double stamped? The ring has been previously owned and shows wear, but is still in good shape with many more years of wear left! $234.95
