Extra large, heavy turquoise spiderweb inlay cast silver decorative pitted collector’s ring. Made by noted Cherokee silversmith Lee Epperson (b.1935-2023). He’s created a heavy cast silver band and has inlaid a large rectangular slab of blue turquoise with spiderweb brown and light brown matrix. The silversmith has cut out areas on both sides and applied a pitted appearance along with a blackened oxidation followed by silver drops as decoration. The band is flat across the bottom which helps the ring from spinning sideways on the finger. He’s finished them by applying a high polishing to both the outside and inside of the ring.

The ring face measures 1” by 7/8” across and it weighs a hefty 45.2 grams (1.59 oz or 1.45 ozt). It’s a size 9 1/2 and handcrafted by Cherokee silversmith Lee Epperson. It shows remnants of his LEE hallmark, but you have to look hard for it. Born in 1935 and recently passed on to Creator in March 2023. This ring with other ones we have listed recently are the last pieces made before his death. Mr. Epperson has created sculptures, paintings, and cast silver/gold fabrications. Mostly known in the silver world for making jewelry boxes and silver/gold sculptures. Bold heavy Cherokee turquoise inlay cast silver collector’s ring! $999.95
