NEW! Cherokee custom made with inlaid Blue Gem turquoise or Carico Lake turquoise decorated detailed silver overlay ring with turquoise beads on the sides. We stumbled across these mixed in with jewelry we have yet to list. Made by Lee Epperson (b. 1935-2023), he’s created his trademarked detailed silver overlay four (4) cornered heavy silver rings. On one side he’s overlaid a zigzag water symbol rug design. The other side also has an overlay design which continues halfway across the ring face. The rest of the face displays an inset square cut and polished turquoise stone from either the size 11 1/2 Blue Gem Mine or the size 10 1/4 Carico Lake Mine turquoise. Some of the overlay silver designs lap over to the front and back sides of the ring along with a round Sleeping Beauty turquoise bead on sides of the size 11 1/2 and Carico Lake beads on the size 10 1/4. It’s really unique how Mr. Epperson builds these rings similar to a sculptured puzzle.

The ring faces measures 15/16” by 1/2” across and they weigh a healthy 26 grams for size 10 1/4 and 25.5 grams for size 11 1/2. Both guaranteed sterling silver, and made by noted Cherokee silversmith Lee Epperson (b.1935-2023). His crafts are internationally known. Back in his heyday, not only did he make silver jewelry, but also miniature teapots, silverware, pots, and plates incorporating the same and similar designs with stones into the silverware.
