Item #1007K- Navajo Rare Black Web Turquoise and Black Jet Beaded Textured Stamped Sterling Silver Turquoise Necklace by EM Teller
NEW! Beautiful Navajo turquoise and onyx decorative necklace with rare Black Web turquoise highlights. Made by Everett and Mary Teller,. they’ve made a rather unique necklace using Kingman turquoise and black onyx rondels with three (3) distinct pendant highlights using rare gem quality Black Web turquoise. The small Black Web turquoise Mine was originally mined in early 1900’s and most recently rediscovered in late 2013 in Esmeralda County Nevada. It produces gem quality high grade spiderweb turquoise that holds a dark reddish brown/black web matrix (which might only look black in the pictures. The focal pendant consists of a nice teardrop cut and polished slab of Black Web set into a smooth bezel mounted to a thick heavy decorative stamped silver pendant with decorated sides and multiple stamped symbols on the back. The two (2) smaller side pendants display smaller teardrops of Black Web to match the focal pendant, but has smooth silver sides. Tellers have ran three (3) strands of a balance mix of Kingman and onyx rondels between the three (3) pendants and pick back up above the side pendants with larger onyx rondels. Finishing the necklace with a mix of silver beads and decorative shepherds hook clasp.
