Beautiful vintage 70's Navajo eleven piece turquoise and coral inlay peyote bird squash necklace! Made with a total of one hundred fifty six (156) silver 6mm hand made seamed beads, ten (10) turquoise and coral chip inlaid peyote bird blossoms with double punched circles flanking both the head and tail that measure 1 1/4" by 5/8" across, and a larger turquoise and coral chip inlaid peyote bird naja that measures 1 3/4" by 1 5/8" across.

The previous owner had added a 3 1/2” long extension to the necklace creating the full necklace length measuring 27 1/4" end to end with a wearable length of 14 7/8" long and is strung on beading wire. The extension has a lobster claw clasp. The standard part of necklace has a large hook-n-eye clasp. It weighs 111.5 grams (3.93 ounces or 3.59 troy ounces) and is unsigned sterling silver.
