The silversmith has created three (3) strands of desert pearls in different sizes bringing the strands together inside a large sterling cone on both ends and attaching a shepherds hook-n-eye clasp. The silversmith has made a total of two hundred thirty four (234) semed silver desert pearl beads to create the necklace. Ninety two (92) 5mm beads, seventy seven (77) 6mm beads, and sixty five (65) 7-8mm beads. Wow! that’s a lot of silver beads. Each strand is strung on silver link chains. We have added a matching pair of single strand desert pearl earrings. Each earring consists of twenty one (21) 5mm desert pearls strung on nylon coated beading wire with a sterling silver ear hook. All handmade time consuming beads!

The necklace measures 20 1/2” long end to end with a wearable length of 9 3/4” measured from clasp down one side to bottom of bead half way of the end to end length. It weighs 59.3 grams 2.09 oz or 1.91 ozt) and is hallmarked Sterling - J.MARIANO by Navajo silversmith Jan Mariano.
