NEW! Large Navajo turquoise repousse’ stamped and symbolized Thunderbird necklace. Made by Tim Yazzie, he’s created a large silver thunderbird with three (3) wing feather sections. The top wing feathers display numerous repousse’ stampwork, the middle wing feather displays heart tipped arrows, and the bottom wing feather displays numerous tribal stamping. On the tail feathers, the two (2) outer tail feathers display bird tracks with the three (3) tail feathers in center displaying plant symbols. He continues by attaching a chest piece of a diamond shaped repousse’ stamping with a small turquoise round set in the center. Finishing the necklace by adding “dot-dash-dot” styled sterling chains from outer tips of wings with a spring loaded clasp.

The complete necklace measures 20” long end to end with a wearable length of 9” measured from clasp straight down to bottom of the Thunderbird’s tail feathers. The Thunderbird itself measures 1 1/2” by 4 1/8” across. The necklace weighs 21.1 grams and is stamped T.YAZZIE - Feather - Sterling by the Navajo silversmith.
