Large vintage Zuni multi stone inlay Sunface-Feathers bolo tie. The artist has created a Sunface deity in the center using stone-to-stone style inlay of turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, and black jet. The artist has used the jet as the lower facial section adding a turquoise eye. It’s encased inside a circular silver channel. Continuing with eighteen (18) mother of pearl and jet stone-to-stone feathers each encased inside individual silver channels along with a large silver drop at each feather tip. Finishing the setting by attaching a thumb locking bolo clasp on the back. The artist has used a 4-ply braided black leather cord and sterling ball tipped end tips.

The Sunface setting measures 2 1/8” diameter with the cord measuring 44” long which includes the 1 3/4” long end tips. The complete bolo tie weighs 38.1 grams (1.34 oz or 1.22 ozt) and is stamped STERLING on the back. Appears to have a hallmark above the clasp, but can’t make it out.
