Beautiful southwest bolo tie displaying an American Indian man holding a buffalo skull above his head. The artist has used mainly yellow and grey/white pearl shell along with turquoise, coral, orange spiny oyster, black jet, and I see a small piece of rhodochrosite at his waist. All mounted on sterling silver with both a thumb locking bolo clasp and a circular loop where it can also be worn as a pendant. Attached to a thin 4-ply braided black leather with custom made end tips that each displays a buffalo skull made from grey/white pearl shell on sterling silver.

The standing Indian measures 4” tall by 1 3/4” across the leg areas. It’s attached to a 38” long 4-ply cord which includes the 2 1/2” by 1” across the horns of the buffalo skull.
